Hi again and welcome to my 2nd Tutorial on "How To Edit Your Compass"

So we've learnt how to use the compass to change your outfits but what about all those "Props"?
Well here's how to edit the compass to hold and take off all those props you have.

As before you will need to locate, right click and select the edit option on the XML file for your compass, this can be found in C:\Makena\There\There Client\Resource\compass

Then while on the There screen press ctrl+shift+L then type /local. This will open up a page called There System Cockpit.

Scroll down & click on ScriptHook then on Browse-Browse then on Browse

Now click on MainMenu/ then on MyThings

You should see a list of all your items from within your "My Things" folder
Look for the prop that you wish to add to your compass commands and click on it.

Click Hold/
Click activate*
Click invoke

Your Avie will now be holding the selected prop and a page will open. DO NOT CLOSE THIS PAGE

copy and paste this into your compass xml file

Now where you see the ******* you need to change them to what you want your prop to be called as this will be the trigger that you will type to hold/put on your prop.

Lets say "snowman" so now when you type /snowman your avie will put on the snowman costume.

Where you see Changing Clothes 'tu' you need to change that to what you want your avie to say as he/she puts on or holds the prop.

And where you see the ++++++++ you need to copy and paste the address from the page that opened when you put on the prop. (This is the one I said not to close)

Now click save and restart the compass. But we are not done yet lol

Ok so now we have you wearing the prop what about taking it off? Well as you are wearing/holding the prop you need to follow the first steps as above until you have clicked on MyThings and the selected prop.

You should now be able to see the option to Put Away/  ....... you can? ... Great 'rtr..... so, what are you waiting for?
CLICK IT
Now click activate* then click invoke
Your avie has just removed the prop and a page has been opened. DO NOT CLOSE THIS PAGE.

Copy and paste the same command line as you did earlier into the XML file and change the ******** into the trigger word that you will type to make your avie remove the prop 'hmmm for snowman you could use defrost but the choice is yours.

Change "Changing Clothes 'tu'" into what you want your avie to say as he/she removes the prop.

And where you see the ++++++++ you need to copy and paste the address from the page that opened when you removed the prop. (This is the one I said not to close)

All's that left to do now is to save the file, close the compass and restart it.

Don't forget you need to press crtl+shift+L then /local each time you log into There.com for the changes to work.
