since not all "funzone" are equal in the events that can be held in them, will the action list what events can be held in the funzone that is up for sale?
instead of lowering the rent, how about a program that reduces your rent on the basis of how many people attend the events at your fun zone? may create more activity in there. (very rough idea) Read More...
I need your help buddy. The BtSt Database is down, and I am unable to get to my tracks. The website does not work. Could you assist me with getting it working again please. Many thanks and kind regards
Enough dust has settled that we can state authoritatively that There_Hoods owns too many funzones.
So, we're going to start auction off some funzones, one per week.
These will be the sort of auction where you end up spending a bunch for the privilege to rent the funzone (which has a high monthly rental rate), so you're probably only interested if you are REALLY interested!
Still, if you're one of the REALLY INTERESTED ones, you might find this news to be exciting all the same!
The first funzone auction will start next Monday.
We haven't picked the funzones yet, (and ultimately we *will* be the picker of that), but please do weigh in with the funzones you are particularly excited about, so we can do a better job of meeting your needs.
There_Hoods will keep a few racekit/gunkit funzones just to be sure there are always some of those open to third party event hosting.
Anyway, we hope this is good news! But don't be shy with your opinions! Read More...
I am returning after being gone for a long time!
I know there was a hair patch that let you see hair with texture instead of the icky blocky style lol
Can anyone help me out here and let me know how do I get that..or any other new patches that will help to make things look better!
Oh they can get plenty of big time sponsors. But big time sponsors only go where big time customer bases are. Coke is not the least bit concerned with a few hundred people. Think of it like The Field of Dreams backwards. If they come, they will build it. Read More...
So I received an email from IMVU that I haven't been on much. Here's the email from them.
A series of malicious attacks impacted our Internet services, which in turn affected your ability to consistently use and enjoy IMVU. Over the past two weeks IMVU experienced some of its worst service outages in its nine-year history, with 15 to 80 minute outages occurring almost every other day.
We recognize our customers have many reasons for using IMVU, from lighthearted fun, expressing creativity, role-playing to making meaningful connections. Some people like meeting new people and having casual chats with them while others form and maintain deep and personal real-world relationships beyond IMVU. So many of the customer stories we hear and share with the rest of our team really touch our hearts. Many others depend on IMVU for generating real-world income by selling their products in our catalog. Whatever your reason, we know it is important and we understand the outages lead to a bad IMVU experience. We owe you a better experience and will keep working hard until we can reliably deliver on that promise.
The attacks used large numbers of computers to target our Internet connections, not our servers or internal networks. We can assure you that your personal and account information was never compromised. The attackers targeted IMVU but hurt many people including you (our customer), your friends that couldn't connect with you, our creators for which IMVU is a business and the families of our employees that have been missing their loved ones while they worked 24/7 to restore service to our customers.
We are serious in our response to the attacks, pursuing technical and legal solutions. We have had tired but determined teams working non-stop to fight and prevent additional attacks. Since the attacks qualify as a crime, law enforcement has started a criminal investigation.
Our Internet services have been fairly stable over the past few days and we are working hard to keep them that way. We realize we always have to earn the right to call you our customer and we hope you will give us the opportunity to provide the service you deserve. We are grateful for the customers that continued to stick with us through the tough times over the past two weeks. For those that have stepped away in frustration, we understand and hope you will let us welcome you back. We will be here waiting along with your friends.

I'm quite shocked to see this happen and I hope the person who did it gets arrested and prosecuted. Read More...
