I was wondering where I had seen those images before!

Yes, for those of you interested in the history of There, Mr. Ventrella wrote a book called "Virtual Body Language"

Though I haven't read all of it yet, it does give some great insights to the developments we see before us every day while logged in!

Great find Jordan! Karma up!

Jeffrey Ventrella is a brilliant and talented gaming developer. He was one of the co-founders of There.com. I've personally interviewed Jeffrey Ventrella and co-founder Will Harvey about the creation of There.com. It's amazing how dedicated and hard work they put in to built this world as we see it today. Mr. Ventrella has also wrote a book called Virtual Body Language. In his book he talks about the history of There. To buy his book visit: www.virtualbodylanguage.com.

If you would like to see the interview here is the link: vimeo.com/19297717.

Mr. Ventrella also worked on the Avatar Puppeteering in Second Life. Here is the history behind that.
