Forum Rules, Guidelines and Policies

Community is 100% the reason Thumdar.com exists and it is our primary concern that everyone who uses this website feel welcome and comfortable. We have a zero abuse policy that will be strictly inforced.

THERE WILL BE NO:

1. Personal attacks or harassment of other users, members, individuals, companies or third-party websites.
2. Sexual or offensive language or content. If you feel you absolutely must swear, the use of Stars (*) can convey your feeling with out offending others. Please keep it clean and respectful.
3. Off-topic discussion.
4. Abuse or disruption of our services.
5. Advertising (SPAM) of third party services or websites, unless authorised by us in advance and in writing. Virtual world news, updates or events are not included in this rule.
6. Bumping of threads. Bumping can refer to posting useless information, posting one-liners or any other action to deliberately keep a thread hot or to bring it to the top of its forum.
7. Warez, cracks, serials or illegally obtained copyrighted content posted or linked.
8. Cross posting. Post your message once, to the appropriate forum and nowhere else or it will be locked or deleted without warning.
9. Posting just to increase your number of posts. If you have nothing to say on a certain matter then don't post. The number of posts on this board has no direct relation to the experience of a member.
10. Multiple registrations.

YOU SHOULD ALWAYS:

1. Search first, post later. Before starting a new thread use the search feature to check that the subject of your intended post is not already covered by an existing topic. If a relevant topic already exists, then feel free to post a reply asking for updates or further details. If no topic already exists, feel free to start a new one.
2. Take care to post new topics to the correct category.
3. Respect the netiquette: Lurk and get to know the forum before you post.
4. Keep the focus: Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved, locked or simply be deleted.
5. Keep the size of personal images down.
6. Use a title that describes the content of your post. Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention.

GENERAL RULES:

• Should it become necessary to ban someone from our forums, they are very rarely, if ever, given a second chance.
• This forum has a policy of tolerance and inclusion. Prejudicial language and behavior is absolutely forbidden and may result in loss of posting privileges. Racial, sexist or religious insults of any not tolerated, nor are slights against other groups based on age, class, IQ, sexual orientation, ethnicity or similar features.
• The Owners and Staff of Thumdar.com Forums have the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread and remove or change any avatar, username or signature for any reason.
• Forum signatures are allowed but may be edited or deleted without notice at any time. Links to competing, offensive or inappropriate websites are not allowed and will be deleted. Repeat offense of this rule may result in banning or deleting of account.
• We take the "Be Polite" rule very seriously. We do not tolerate any rudeness. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive may be banned without warning.
• If you SPAM our members in any manner, your account will be disabled. Do not contact anyone to suggest your product or service.
• Your account is yours alone. You are responsible for any activity created with it. You may not share your account login with anyone. If you choose to ignore this important restriction your account, and any accounts associated with it, will be disabled.
• The official language is English. Outside the translator forum English is the only allowed language.
