3Dchat is now being supported by Thumdar.com. All categories throughout the site now include 3Dchat and we're happy to have them as part of the community! Haven't checked out 3Dchat yet? Take a look at their 3D virtual world.

News Ticker added to Thumdar.com

To help everyone know what is new at Thumdar.com, we've added a 'News Ticker' just below the main menu navigation bar.
 
This news ticker module automatically rotates between the latest news articles and uses an animation that is pleasing to the eye. The goal was to bring the latest news to Thumdar.com readers in such a way that wasn't cumbersom and utilized available space. As news becomes available, it will be displayed here.

Profile Feature: Favorite Virtual World

Today we added a new profile field called, "Favorite Virtual World".

With this you can select one favorite virtual world to proudly display your preference. This is not a required field and can be changed at any time. After all ~ sometimes we spend most of our time in one world while other times we're some place else.

To select your favorite virtual world, you will need to change your profile information:

  1. Log in
  2. In the top main menu, click: Account > Edit Profile
  3. Scroll down and you will see the 'Favorite Virtual World' select list
  4. Make your selection
  5. Scroll to the very bottom of the page and click the 'Save' button

Thumdar is Travelling

Well peoples ~ I am at the Tampa, FL airport getting ready to board my flight to Los Angeles. From there I will be heading to Manila, Philippines for a two month excursion of song writing and meeting great people. I'm hoping to do some snorkling (it is supposed to be the best).

We work hard in life and sometimes we have to take time for ourselves and renourish our souls. I will have internet access so, I may pop in here from time to time. Who knows ~ if I get bored I may do some work on this site (which needs much work).

Anyway ~ hope you are all well and thanks for everything!

Patch Installers Being Re-created

Starting today I will be re-creating all of the patch installers in the downloads section.

Because of time limitations I haven't been able to begin remaking them until now. The new installers will have the correct install-to locations within the current There software:

C:|Makena|There|ThereClient

Each patch with a new installer will be clearly marked at the beginning of the specific download item. You can see a example of the new installers here:
