    • 🔒 Thumdar Community Security Update

      Hey everyone!

We wanted to share a quick update regarding the recently reported critical PHP security vulnerabilities, sometimes referred to as “PHP2Shell,” that are currently affecting websites and servers around the world.

First and foremost, Thumdar is open, operational, and protected!

Our infrastructure team addressed the immediate security concerns during the wee hours of the morning, shortly after the vulnerabilities were reported. Thumdar has been good to go since the issue first came to light.

      Here’s what you should know:

✅ Immediate Safeguards: Preventative security measures have already been implemented across our hosting environment to protect against these vulnerabilities.

✅ Active Protection: Additional layers of security are actively filtering malicious traffic and blocking known exploitation attempts.

✅ Continuous Monitoring: Our security infrastructure is actively monitoring for suspicious activity and emerging threats.

✅ Patch Deployment Ready: Preparations for the official PHP security updates are already complete, allowing the patches to be deployed as soon as they become available.

✅ No Expected Downtime: Updates are being handled at the infrastructure level, with no action required from our community.

What does this mean for you?

You can continue using Thumdar as normal. Our security measures are already in place, and we’re staying ahead of the situation while the official PHP updates are finalized and deployed.

Keeping our community and its information protected is something we take seriously, and we wanted everyone to know that this situation was addressed proactively rather than waiting for the official patches.

Thank you for being part of the Thumdar community!
