Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy for Thumdar

Effective Date: 5/7/2025

Thumdar.com was created to empower creativity, foster connections, and provide a safe, supportive environment where members of the online virtual communities and beyond can thrive. This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) exists not to restrict creativity, but to ensure that everyone can enjoy Thumdar in a respectful, inclusive, and constructive space.

By using Thumdar.com, you agree to uphold the principles and guidelines outlined here. These standards are designed to protect you, your content, and the integrity of our entire community. We take violations seriously, but our ultimate goal is prevention and education—not punishment. With your help, we can maintain a space where creativity and collaboration flourish.

1. Community Standards and Age Requirements

Thumdar is a platform built by and for adults, and as such, it is intended solely for users 18 years of age or older. This age restriction ensures that we can maintain a safe and mature environment where users can express themselves freely—but always respectfully.

We welcome stylized avatars, bold creative designs, and fantasy-inspired content. However, all content must remain age-appropriate and follow the platform’s standards for tasteful representation.

The Fig Leaf Policy:

Thumdar requires that all avatar bodies and visuals adhere to a basic modesty standard—what a fig leaf would cover, must be covered. This includes the front and rear pelvic region and female-presenting breasts/nipples. Nudity, exposed genitalia (realistic or stylized), or any sexually explicit visual, textual, or audio content is not permitted.

This policy helps ensure that Thumdar remains welcoming and appropriate for all adult users without descending into explicit or exploitative material. The goal is to celebrate self-expression while setting respectful boundaries.

2. Respectful Use of the Platform

We want Thumdar to be a place where you feel respected and safe to be yourself. That’s why we ask all users to avoid any of the following behaviors:

  • Harassment, Abuse, or Threats: Personal attacks, bullying, discrimination, or hate speech targeting others based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, disability, or any other status will not be tolerated.
  • Offensive or Disturbing Content: This includes graphic violence, sexually explicit material, or content designed to shock, provoke, or cause harm.
  • Impersonation: You may not impersonate another user, staff member, public figure, or organization. Transparency builds trust.
  • Illegal Activity: Thumdar may not be used to promote, engage in, or support illegal activity, including hacking, fraud, identity theft, or the sharing of pirated materials.
  • Spamming and Unwanted Promotions: Avoid unsolicited advertising, repetitive self-promotion, or spammy behavior that disrupts conversations or user experiences.
  • Unauthorized Access: Trying to bypass system restrictions or gain access to another user’s account or personal data is strictly prohibited.
  • Infringement of Copyright or Intellectual Property: Respect the original work of others. Upload and share only content that you own or have permission to use.
  • Data Scraping or Automation: Using bots or automated tools to collect user data or manipulate the platform is not allowed.
  • Service Interruption: Any intentional act to crash, slow down, or interfere with the platform’s performance undermines the experience for everyone.

3. Responsibility for Your Content

At Thumdar, we celebrate creativity, but with creativity comes responsibility. You are responsible for all content you post, including images, designs, event listings, group information, messages, and forum comments.

Please ensure that your content:

  • Respects intellectual property laws and the privacy of others.
  • Avoids viruses, malware, or harmful attachments.
  • Upholds the fig leaf and age-appropriate policies.
  • Does not mislead others or falsely represent affiliations or endorsements.

If you’re ever unsure whether something is appropriate, feel free to ask—we’d rather help guide you than remove content after the fact.

4. Community Expectations

Thumdar is more than a platform—it’s a shared space. Every interaction shapes the culture we build together. That’s why we ask you to:

  • Engage with respect and civility. Disagreements happen, but personal attacks or toxic behavior don’t belong here.
  • Contribute constructively. Share ideas, offer feedback, and create content that uplifts and informs others.
  • Support new and returning users. Remember that many members are here to reconnect with a world and community they love. Let’s make them feel welcome.

We’re not here to police creativity, but we are committed to keeping the community healthy, open, and supportive for everyone.

5. Account Security

Your account is your responsibility. Keep your password secure, avoid sharing access, and let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized activity.

Here are some best practices to help you keep your account safe:

  • Choose a strong password: Use at least 8 characters (the more, the better) and include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Avoid obvious choices: Don’t use names, common words, or predictable sequences like “123456” or “password.”
  • Use unique passwords: Don’t reuse passwords from other websites or services. Each account you care about deserves its own.
  • Update regularly: Change your password every few months to reduce the risk of compromise.
  • Use a password manager if needed: It can help you generate and store secure, complex passwords without needing to memorize them all.

The more complex and unique your password is, the more secure your account will be.

We’ll always do our best to protect your information—but we need your help in keeping your account safe, too.

6. What Happens If the Rules Are Violated?

We know that mistakes happen. In most cases, we’ll reach out to clarify the issue, provide guidance, or request a correction. However, for serious or repeated violations, Thumdar may take the following actions:

  • Issue a formal warning.
  • Temporarily limit or suspend features.
  • Remove offending content.
  • Permanently terminate the account.
  • Permanently ban your IP address or use other preventative measures to restrict your ability to access Thumdar.com in the future.
  • Report illegal behavior to authorities, if required.

These actions are taken with care, not punishment in mind. Our hope is always to educate first and act firmly only when necessary to protect the community.

7. Staying Informed

This Policy may be updated from time to time as our platform evolves. We will notify you of any major changes. Continued use of Thumdar.com after updates means you agree to the revised terms.

We recommend checking back occasionally to stay up to date.

8. Reporting Tools and Member Controls

To help maintain a safe and respectful environment, Thumdar.com provides users with built-in tools to report and manage unwanted or inappropriate interactions across the platform. These tools are intended to empower members and support the health of the community.

  • Reporting Content or Behavior: Users can report specific content such as posts, comments, profiles, messages, and uploads they believe violate Thumdar’s guidelines. Each reported item is reviewed by moderators, and appropriate action is taken based on the severity and context of the violation.
  • Blocking Members: Users have the ability to block other members if they no longer wish to engage with them. Blocking prevents further contact from the blocked member and helps users manage their personal experience on the platform.
  • Timely Review: Thumdar.com is committed to responding to reports in a timely, fair, and consistent manner. Reports are handled discreetly, and where necessary, additional investigation or action may be taken.

These tools are provided to help every member feel safe, respected, and in control of their experience. We strongly encourage users to utilize them whenever necessary, and to help us uphold the standards of our community.

9. Reporting Concerns

If you see behavior or content that violates this Policy—or that just doesn’t feel right—we encourage you to speak up. There is a form located at the bottom of this policy for your convenience. All reports are reviewed promptly, respectfully, and confidentially.

Thank you for helping make Thumdar a safe and inspiring home for creative minds, returning friends, and future pioneers.

This Policy isn’t here to limit you—it’s here to protect all of us, together.
