Thumdar Brand & Ownership Update

Hey Thumdar community! We want to keep you informed about the current ownership and trademark status of Thumdar as we continue to evolve and build something great together.

As many of you know, Thumdar.com was legally acquired in 2024, and we are currently in the process of registering the Thumdar® trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Until the registration is complete, we’re protected by common law trademark rights, ensuring the brand stays secure.

We’ve received permission from Jay Yarbrough, the original creator of Thumdar, to use legacy content and continue the platform’s growth. Jay’s public confirmation that he’s not the current owner of Thumdar.com helps clarify things as we move forward. However, Jay has since expressed that he no longer wishes for his materials to be used. While we respect his personal change of position, the legal permissions granted remain intact, and Thumdar is now owned by Domenick Basolo.
