📢 Giveaway Timeline Clarification

It was recently brought to my attention that some of the giveaway instructions might have caused confusion. In a few places, I’ve said “post on the main timeline,” while in others I’ve said “post on your timeline.” If you didn’t know how this works, I can definitely see how that would be confusing—and that’s on me. Let me clear things up:

✅ On Thumdar, both are the same when set to public.

• When you post to your own timeline, it also appears on the main timeline.
• When you post to the main timeline, it also appears on your personal timeline.
• As long as your post is set to public for all members, it will be visible in both places.

🔒 Privacy settings make the difference.

• If you set your post to “private” or “connections only,” you’ll still see it on your timeline and in the main timeline feed—but others will only see it according to the rules you set.

So, in short: for giveaways, posting to either your timeline or the main timeline works the same, as long as it’s public.
