The Rules & How It Works page has been updated to reflect an important change:

Kickoff Posts are no longer required.

You can now join the giveaway and begin earning entries at any time during the month without needing to complete a kickoff first. This update was made to simplify things, reduce confusion, and make it easier for everyone to participate — especially for those who join later in the month.
