The core features of Thumdar — profile creation, group participation, forums, timeline posting, events, and shared community resources — are and will remain free to all users, without paywalls or feature locks. Whether you’re a hobbyist, creator, gamer, or enthusiast, you belong here.
What Is Thumdar Premium?
Thumdar Premium is an optional subscription plan designed to enhance your experience while supporting the continued growth and development of the platform.
Our premium membership is affordably priced at just $2.99/month and designed to enhance your experience by removing ads—nothing more. Access to core site features is free for all, always. Access to contributor tools, however, is reserved for users who have completed the Verified Contributor process.
Premium subscribers receive:
- An ad-free browsing experience
- Occasional early access to new features
- The satisfaction of helping keep Thumdar open and accessible to everyone
Premium does not unlock exclusive tools or features. All major tools and functionality are shared equally among all users.
What Is Always Free (and Equal)?
Thumdar ensures that the following features are available to all members, regardless of subscription status:

- Timeline activity, photo uploads, and comments
- Group creation and membership

Verified Contributors, Moderators, and Admins
Some users have access to additional tools — not because of payment, but because of their contributions or responsibilities within the community.
Verified Contributors
Verified Contributors are recognized for meaningful participation in virtual worlds or within Thumdar itself. They have:
- A Verified Contributor badge
- The ability to add a donation link to their profile
- A showcase link for events, creations, or work
- A special bio section to describe their virtual roles and achievements
- Access to a private document and file upload space for organizing their materials
These features are designed to support community contributors who often give their work freely.
Moderators and Admins
Thumdar moderators and admins are selected based on trust and community leadership. They receive access to moderation tools and the same file storage system used by Verified Contributors — purely for administrative and support purposes.
Subscription Terms & Billing
- Subscription options: Monthly, quarterly, or annual plans
- Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
- Cancellations: Can be made at any time via account settings
- Refunds: A full refund is available within 14 days of your first subscription payment. Renewals and subsequent payments are non-refundable.
Policy Changes
We reserve the right to change or update this policy at any time. Any significant revisions will be communicated to users when possible. Minor adjustments may not be announced so check back regularly.
